The time where I would even deepen the connection with outdoors came. It is no secret that I always enjoyed being surrounded by nature. Out there, there is no finish line or pool length, there is only endless exploration of yourself and nature.
With signing into mountaineering school in the mountain association with which I began this journey in childhood I started to explore the world which I could only dream about before. At the beginning I was also very driven by friends who spent their lifetime sport climbing, but pretty soon I realized that mountains attract me more. The sports I was at the time only getting to know from alpine climbing, ski touring and paragliding offered me what I was searching for.
The tradition is that in the first year of mountaineering school you get to climb your first alpine route. For the first route we climbed a beautiful classic in north face of Debela peč, Jesih-Potočnik. It was everything I was expecting and more, that was when I also started to realize that mountain sports are more than just sports.
