Circumnavigating Mt. Razor

We are deep in the winter now or at least we should be. There is no sign of significant snowfall here in Slovenia, even though after the last storms the northeast face of mount Razor looked like it could be in ok shape.

Slowly approaching the wall we were optimistic and full of motivation to ski something steeper. We were in this face a couple of times before. That day we wanted to try a new route for us which we ascended, but since the conditions looked better in a route we have skied before called Labirint eng. Maze we decided to descend that one once again.

Exposed and perfect turns marked the upper section, but pretty soon we encountered more difficult conditions, including crust and wet snow and the passages were narrower than the previous years. That didn’t stop us and we continuously skied entire face and made the most out of the conditions!
