From childhood I have memories when we together with the family visited the log cabin Pri Ingotu which is a starting point for the more difficult routes to Martuljek or often also called Špik mountain group. I was always amazed by the people who would return in the afternoon from up there.
If you would ask me fifteen years ago if I would go up there I would think you are joking and if you would ask me if I would climb and ski a new route from one of the most wonderful peaks in the group I would say you are dreaming.
Dreams do come true, that day arriving up there surrounded by mountain peaks I felt at home. Together with Drejc we climbed and skied a new route between Oltars, called it Slepa or eng. Blind, because the wind was blowing uphill carrying the snow and for a moment we couldn’t see anything, we were blind, graded VI, S6+, 200m.
